A translation slides a shape, a reflection flips it across a line, and a rotation turns it about a point. Each move keeps every length, every angle and every pair of parallel sides the same, so the image is congruent to the original. On the grid each move has a coordinate rule: (x + 3, y - 5) for a slide, (-x, y) for a flip across the y-axis, (-y, x) for a quarter turn. Two figures are congruent when a sequence of moves lands one exactly on the other. The crew designs the clubhouse floor pattern with cardboard L-tiles at the Blueprint Table.
