Wednesday: Tiny germs

Rocket sneezes. Achoo!

Raven asks, "What came out?"

Rocket looks. "I do not see anything!"

Nova hints, "Some things are too tiny to see."

What are germs?

Germs are very tiny living things.

They are too small to see with just your eyes.

Scientists use a microscope to see them.

Some germs can make people sick.

Some tiny living things are helpers!

Helper ones in your gut help you use food.

How germs get around

Germs can spread in sneezes and coughs.

Germs can spread when we touch things.

Cover your sneeze with a tissue.

Then throw the tissue away.

No tissue? Sneeze into your elbow.

Do not sneeze into your hands.
