Story Hunt

Story Hunt: characters
// Feelings, traits and how characters respond
⏱ about 15 min

Saturday: Story Hunt

Lucy the Ladybug flies over the Tomorrow Trail. "Story Hunt day!"

"Find a story book at home or at the library," says Lucy.

"Pick one character. Watch how they feel and what they do."

Ferris the Fox waves his map. "Then tell us what you found!"

  1. A feeling is how a character feels inside.
  2. Feelings can change during a story.
  3. A trait is what a character is like most of the time.
  4. A response is what a character says or does next.
  5. Clues in the words help us find all of these.
