Thursday: A compare story

Chris the Coyote tips his hat.

"Tonight's story is about feathers and acorns," he says.

"Listen closely. Who has more?"

Story: Chris and Samantha

Chris found 9 feathers by the river.

Samantha the Squirrel found 5 acorns under a tree.

They lined them up side by side.

They matched one feather to one acorn.

Four feathers had no acorn to match.

"I have 4 more!" said Chris.

Red dots are feathers. Blue dots are acorns. Match them up.
