Oliver sets 4 acorns and 1 acorn on the left.

"And 2 and 3 acorns on the right," says Oliver.

"Are the sides equal?"

Learn it: work out each side

Look at 4 + 1 = 2 + 3.

The left side is 4 + 1. That makes 5.

The right side is 2 + 3. That makes 5.
