Friday: When to stop and ask

Rocket lines up the four fixes on a card.

"Charger, cable, restart, swap!"

Raven asks, "What do you notice is missing?"

Nova glows. "Hint: the fifth step is a person."

The four safe fixes

  • Ask a grown-up to check the charger.
  • Look at the cable. Tell a grown-up if loose.
  • Restart with a grown-up.
  • Swap the mouse.

Stop and ask

Some things are never a child fix.

Opening a case. Touching a battery. Pulling a plug.

Anything hot, wet or sparking.

If a fix did not work, stop.

Tell a grown-up what you tried.
