Hazel the Hedgehog points. "Beds and closets." Bennie the Bear: "Laundry and the kitchen." Lucy the Ladybug: "Table and manners." Lizzy the Lizard: "Plants and pets."

Freddy grins. "Six weeks, six jobs. Helper, can you still do them all?"

Start your Keeper list

This week you will choose five jobs to keep doing after the course ends. Call it your Keeper chart.

From weeks one to six, write down two or three jobs you want to keep. Tomorrow you will add more and pick your final five.

Try it
Pick one job from the table and do it right now, with a grown-up nearby.
Make your bed in four steps, or fold three towels in thirds.
Say the steps out loud as you go.
Safety first
Pick a job with nothing hot, sharp or electrical. A grown-up runs any machine.

Six jobs reviewed, Helper! Tomorrow Freddy finishes the review with weeks seven to eleven.
