A warm, clean pile sits on the den table. Bennie the Bear rubs his paws together. "Folding time."
Rosie the Rabbit grabs a towel and crumples it into a ball. "Done!" Bennie chuckles. "A ball is not a fold. Watch."
He lays the towel flat. Folds it in half. Folds it in half again. Then once more. A neat rectangle. "Three folds. Now it stacks." Rosie tries. Her towel is a little crooked, but it stacks. "Hooray!"
Clean clothes that are not folded get wrinkled and lost. Folded clothes stack, fit in drawers and look ready to wear.
There are three folds to learn this week. The towel fold, the shirt fold and the pants fold. Each one has only a few moves.
Fold on a flat surface, like a table or a made bed. Smooth each piece before you fold it.
