Freddy the Frog hops onto the lily pad stage. "Friday review! The laundry chain is almost done."
Bennie the Bear points at three stacks. "Folded. But whose is whose?" Rosie the Rabbit holds up a small sock. "Not Bennie's!" Everyone laughs.
Freddy nods. "Last step. Sort by owner. One pile for each person. Then each pile goes to that person's room." Rosie cheers. "Sort, tag, wash, fold, put away! Bennie did the whole chain!"
Folded laundry is not done until it is put away. The fastest way is to sort by owner first.
Make one pile per person. Size is a big clue. Small socks belong to small people. Then carry each pile to that person's room.
Put your own clothes in your drawers by kind, as you learned in Week 2. Ask before you open anyone else's drawers.
Laundry is a chain. Each link leads to the next. Skip one and the chain breaks.
Here is the chain in order. Say it out loud until you can do it without looking.
