Wednesday: Sand or soil?

Rocket pours water on sand. It disappears fast!

Raven asks, "What do you notice about the soil cup?"

Nova says, "Watch where the water goes."

Sand and clay

Sand has big bits with big spaces.

Water passes through sand easily.

So sandy soil dries out fast.
