Week 11

Two Equations at Once

// Where the lines cross

A system of two linear equations is solved by the point that makes both true, the point where their graphs cross. Solve by inspection, by graphing or by substitution. Parallel lines give no solution and the same line gives infinitely many. This week the crew crosses two strings on floor graph paper.
