Loud sounds and your ears

Sounds can be harmful when they are too loud.

Very loud sounds can hurt your hearing.

Even a short time can be too much.

Long, loud sounds can harm hearing too.

Ways to protect your ears

Turn down the volume.

Move away from the loud sound.

Sounds get softer as you move farther away.

Wear earplugs or earmuffs near loud noise.
