Wednesday: Spot the Problem

Rosa's friend runs a small bakery. She shares her first draft of a staff AI policy and asks Rosa for honest feedback.

Rosa reads it twice. Some lines are good. Others break almost every lesson from the course.

She grabs a pen and starts marking it up.

Read like a plan reviewer

Read the draft below. It was written for this lesson, and it contains several problems to find.

For each line, ask which of the four questions it answers, and whether it answers it safely.

Example output (written for this lesson)
Staff AI policy, draft 1:
Starting Monday, we will use AI tools for every task we can.
Staff may paste our full customer list into any chatbot to write emails faster.
AI replies to online reviews will post on their own, with no need to check.
When business is slow, staff may use AI to write a few five-star reviews.
We will not tell customers that we use AI.
Any request to change supplier bank details is confirmed by a call to the number on file.

Rewrite the review-reply line so it is safe.
WHY THIS EXERCISEThe SBA says a person should check every AI-generated message.
Instead of every task, start with one or two and ____ them.
