Friday: Week 7 Review

On Friday, Maya, Ben and Rosa compare their honest-use rules.

Maya's family rule fits on a sticky note. Ben drafted a short note to families about AI in his class.

Rosa deleted the made-up quotes from her draft page. "Six real reviews beat twenty fake ones," she says.

This week in five lines

  • Disclosure means saying openly that AI helped, most of all when others rely on the work.
  • The SBA suggests a business consider a public statement on how it uses AI.
  • The FTC reviews rule bars reviews that misrepresent that the reviewer exists or used the product.
  • Endorsements must reflect the honest opinions or experience of the endorser (FTC Endorsement Guides).
  • Copyright can protect only material that is the product of human creativity (Copyright Office).
