Friday: Week 4 Review

On Friday, Ben tells his colleague about the quiz with the made-up answer key.

She laughs, then goes quiet. "I should read my newsletter before I send it," she says.

Maya has a meal plan she trusts, because she checked it. Rosa has a job post draft with three lines crossed out.

Each of them asked well, and each of them checked.

This week in five lines

  • AI should be like an electric bike: you stay in control, with less effort (Department of Education).
  • The report's first recommendation is to keep humans in the loop.
  • Automation bias is trusting a machine too much, and it can make other risks worse (NIST).
  • A clear request names the goal, audience, format and limits. This is a habit, not a proven formula.
  • Check every output for facts, sources, tone and fit, and have a person sign off (SBA).
REVIEW
