Tuesday: Two texts, one topic

Lizzy the Lizard looks up from her notebook.

"I wrote notes about the Fern Hollow Garden," she says.

Freddy points to a sign. "The Trail Team wrote about the garden too!"

"Two texts, one topic," says Ferris. "Let us find the big points in each."

Learn it: the most important points

Two texts can be about the same topic.

Each text has important points.

Some points are in both texts. Some are in only one.

Ferris asks: Where is the garden? He looks in both texts. By the pond!
