Saturday: Story Hunt

Riley the Raccoon holds up his lantern.

"Story Hunt day!" he says.

"Find a storybook at home or at the library."

"Then hunt for the problem and the solution."

Ferris waves his map. "Happy puzzle hunting, friends!"

  1. A problem is what goes wrong in a story.
  2. A solution is how the problem gets fixed.
  3. The problem often comes near the beginning.
  4. Characters try things. The first try may not work.
  5. Feelings change when the problem is solved.
