Saturday: Story Hunt

Chris the Coyote waves from the trail. "It is Story Hunt day!"

"Find any book at home or at the library," says Ferris.

"Read it with a grown-up. Then ask the six question words."

"See how many answers you can find," says Chris.

  1. Who asks about a person or an animal.
  2. What asks about a thing or an event.
  3. Where asks about a place. When asks about time.
  4. Why asks for a reason. How asks the way.
  5. Good readers look back at the words to find answers.
◇ STORY HUNT

Look back at the pages to find each answer.
