Samantha races to the Sound Map.

"Hunt time!" she says.

"Find k, j and w at home."

  1. k says the first sound in key.
  2. j says the first sound in jam.
  3. w says the first sound in web.
  4. New last sound, new word: cat, cap.

Walk around your home with your grown-up.
Find something that starts like key.
Find something that starts like jam.
Find something that starts like web.
HUNT CHECK
  • Read the question.
  • Tap your answer.

For a grown-up
Say a word. Then change its last sound.
Try cat, cap, can. Let your child find one too.
