Monday: S blends

Samantha the Squirrel zips down a tree.

"I love fast sounds!" says Samantha.

"Stop, snap, spin! Can you hear two sounds at the start?"

See it: blends

In a blend, two letters sit side by side.

You can hear both sounds.

Stop starts with s and t. Sss, t. Stop!

A digraph like sh makes one sound. A blend keeps two.
