Samantha scurries down the trail.

"Let us hunt for teen numbers!" she says.

"Find 10 and some more."

Hunt for teen numbers

Find 10 things. Make one pile.

Find some more. Make a second pile.

Count on from 10.

Find 10 leaves and 5 more.
Find 10 rocks and 8 more.
Say each teen number out loud.

Say the teen number. Then switch!
Draw 10 leaves and 6 more.
For a grown-up
Your child met the numbers 11 to 20.
Each teen number is ten and some more.
Ask, "How many more than 10?"
Let them count on from 10.
