Bruce the Bobcat brings a box of sticks.

"Can we count them all?" he asks.

Bennie the Bear says, "Let us make tens."

Learn it: a ten rod

Ten cubes stuck together make a rod.

One rod is 10.

Two rods are 20.

Bennie counts the rods. 10, 20, 30!

Three ten rods.

Three rods are 30.
