◇ COUNT WITH A GROWN-UP
Your grown-up puts out 6 to 10 spoons.
Make a row of 5 first.
Then count on to find how many.
Swap jobs and do it again.
Draw your best group from the hunt.
For a grown-up
This week your child counted to 10.
A ten-frame shows 5 in each row.
Ask, "Is it 5 and some more?"
Counting on from 5 is a big step.
Starting again from 1 is fine too.

Great hunting! Next week we read numbers.
