Oliver and Bennie walk along the trail with a notebook.

"Then we can find 10 more and 100 more."

Bennie spots a sign with 120 on it.

"Ten more is 130!" he says.

◇ COMPARE WITH A GROWN-UP
You each write a number with three digits.
Say which number is greater.
Then say 10 more than your number.
Take turns five times.
Draw the two numbers you found with the right sign.
For a grown-up
This week your child compared numbers up to 1000.
They used the signs >, < and =.
Ask, "What is 10 more? What is 100 less?"
Only one digit should change.

Great hunting! Next week Riley helps us add.
