Chris the Coyote sits by the pond as the sky gets dark.
"Tonight I will tell you about the fireflies," he says.
"Seven fireflies glowed by the reeds, and eight glowed by the log."

8 fireflies glowed by the old log.
All together, 15 fireflies lit up the pond.
Then 7 fireflies flew home, and 8 stayed to shine.
