Math is everywhere at home.

Look for lengths, clocks, shapes and equal parts.

Use the math words you learned.

Measure a table with your hand spans.
Find a clock and say the hour.
Find 3 things shaped like a rectangle.
Find something round, like a plate or a lid.
Fold a napkin into fourths.

Each of you picks a small toy.
Measure both toys with the same blocks.

Try it with three toys and put them in order.
Draw your favorite thing from Number Trail.
For a grown-up
This week your child measured length with cubes.
They told time to the hour and half hour.
They named shapes by sides and corners.
They split shapes into halves and fourths.
