Wednesday: Fix two: check the cable

The printer will not print.

Rocket taps the print button again and again.

Raven kneels down. "What do you notice behind it?"

Nova points her light. "Hint: follow the cable."

Loose cables

Some parts join with a cable.

A printer, a mouse or a speaker may have one.

A loose cable means the parts cannot talk.

The fix is to look at the cable.

Is it pushed in all the way at the device?

If it is loose, tell a grown-up.

Safety first
Only look at the cable at the device end.
Never touch the end that goes in the wall.
Never pull a plug out of the wall.
