Saturday in Fern Hollow. Riley waits by the door.

"Your turn to pack!" says Riley.

Rosie cheers. "Checklists ready, helpers!"

  1. A bag holds what you need for the day.
  2. A picture checklist shows each thing.
  3. Pack it, then check it off.
  4. Pack at night. Set the bag by the door.

Pick a bag: school bag or day-trip bag.
Draw a picture checklist together.
Your child finds each thing and packs it.
Your child makes each check mark.
Set the bag by the door together.
In the morning, grab and go!
Safety first
Keep the bag light. Two hands to lift.
A grown-up packs anything for skin or health.
Set the bag where nobody will trip.
