Monday: What goes in a school bag?

Chris the Coyote here. Today Riley needs a hand.

Riley the Raccoon tips out a bag. "Where is my folder?"

Ferris the Fox grins. "Let us pack it right."

Ferris packs a backpack by the door. A lunch box, a bottle, a book, a jacket.

A bag for school

A school bag carries what you need for the day.

Pack it the same way every time.

Then you always know what is inside.

Here is what Riley packs.

  • Folder with papers
  • Lunch box
  • Water bottle
  • Jacket or sweater
  • Library book, on library day

Big things go in first. The folder lies flat.

The lunch box sits on top.

The water bottle stands up in the side pocket.

Zip the bag closed. Done!
