Monday: Morning jobs in order

Chris the Coyote here. Today Oliver needs a hand.

Oliver the Owl yawns. "Mornings are a muddle!"

Ferris the Fox smiles. "A routine will help."

Oliver points at a big wall clock. It shows seven o clock.

What is a routine?

A routine is jobs done in the same order.

Every morning, the same jobs, the same order.

Then nothing gets forgotten.

Oliver wants a morning routine. Let us build one.

Oliver's morning routine

  1. Wake up and stretch.
  2. Use the bathroom and wash hands.
  3. Get dressed.
  4. Eat breakfast with the family.
  5. Brush teeth.
  6. Put the bag by the door.

Six jobs. One after the other.

Dressed comes before breakfast. Teeth come after breakfast.

Your routine at home may be a little different.

That is fine. The order stays the same each day.
