Rocket wants to move pollen himself.

Raven asks, "What do you notice about fuzzy things?"

Nova says, "Try something soft, like a bee."

You need

  • Two paper cups
  • Two colors of chalk dust (a grown-up makes it)
  • A cotton ball
  • A paper plate
Safety first
A grown-up scrapes the chalk into dust.
Keep the dust away from your face.
Do not blow on the dust.
Wash your hands when you finish.

Steps

  1. Put the cups on the plate. They are your flowers.
  2. A grown-up puts yellow dust in one cup.
  3. A grown-up puts blue dust in the other cup.
  4. Your cotton ball is the bee.
  5. Dab the bee into the yellow cup.
  6. Now dab the bee into the blue cup.
  7. Look inside the blue cup.
