Machine Day: Family Magnet Hunt

Rocket hands everyone a paper clip.

"Find every magnet in the house!" he says.

Raven makes a list. "What do you notice? Where do magnets hide?"

Nova floats to the kitchen. "I count one already. Can you find it?"

  1. A magnet pulls on iron and steel.
  2. Every magnet has a north pole and a south pole.
  3. Different poles attract. Like poles repel.
  4. The pull reaches through paper and other things.
  5. Some fridge seals hide a magnet that pulls the door shut.
