Earth turns once a day on its axis, an imaginary line through the North and South Poles. The Sun does not travel around us. We ride the turning Earth, so the Sun appears to rise in the east, cross the sky and set in the west. The ground feels still because everything around us turns with it. A lamp and a ball with a sticker for home reproduce sunrise, noon, sunset and midnight. This week the crew sets up the Sky Deck and starts the Sky Log with where the Sun sets.
