Rocket and Raven want to design a helper.

Rocket starts drawing fast.

Today you are a designer.

You will plan a helper on paper.

It must be fair to everyone.

You will need

  • Big paper
  • Crayons or markers
  • A grown-up helper
Safety first
Crayons and markers stay out of mouths.
Put caps back on markers.
Sit at a table to draw.
For a grown-up
Your child plans a pretend helper.
Ask who it helps and how.
Ask who might be left out.

What to do

  1. Pick a job for your helper.
  2. Think of who it will help.
  3. Draw your helper on paper.
  4. Ask: does it work for everyone?
  5. Add one thing to make it fair.
