Rocket writes steps for a silly dance.

Raven and Nova follow them exactly.

Everyone laughs and spins around!

  1. An algorithm is a list of steps.
  2. A person writes the steps.
  3. Order matters, and bugs can be fixed.
  4. Machine learning finds patterns in examples.
  5. People give the examples.
◇ SILLY DANCE STEPS
Make up a dance together.
Use three or four moves.
A grown-up writes the moves in order.
Follow the steps exactly.
Then swap two steps and try again.
For a grown-up
Ask: what did you notice?
Ask: what changed when steps swapped?
Celebrate any bug you found together.
Keep the dance space clear of toys.
