"Some crayons are Zibs," Raven says.

Rocket wants to guess right away.

Nova hints, "Wait for more examples."

Today you are the learner.

A grown-up picks a secret rule.

  • Paper

The secret rule: every crayon is a Zib.
Do not tell the rule yet.
Round one: show only red crayons.
Round two: show many colors.

What to do

  1. Your grown-up shows red crayons.

  3. Look at a blue crayon.
  4. Guess: is it a Zib?
  5. Now your grown-up shows many colors.
  6. Your grown-up says, "These are Zibs too."
  7. Look at a green crayon.
  8. Guess again: is it a Zib?
