Raven hides behind a big box.

Clap! Crinkle! Jingle!

Rocket shouts, "I hear three sounds!"

Nova hints, "What does each sound mean?"

You will need

  • A big box or chair to hide behind
  • A sheet of paper to crinkle
  • A ring of keys to jingle
  • A pot and a wooden spoon
Safety first
A grown-up makes the sounds.
Keep sounds soft, not too loud.
Keys stay with the grown-up.
Stay seated while you listen.

What to do

  1. Sit down and close your eyes.
  2. Your grown-up hides behind the box.
  3. Your grown-up makes one sound.
  4. Listen like a microphone.
  5. Guess what made the sound.
  6. Peek and check. Then try the next one.
