An AI system is an engineered or machine-based system that, for a set of objectives, produces outputs such as predictions, recommendations or decisions. AI systems work with different levels of autonomy. A fixed program only follows the exact steps a person wrote. Real AI is a tool people build; it does not think or feel like a person, and it can be wrong.
